Salary: Up to £55,000 with 10% KPI Bonus and profit share scheme.

The Role

  • Lead the registration and mobilisation of a new children’s home
  • Build, develop and manage a high-performing staff team
  • Create a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people with EBD, autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Take full responsibility for Ofsted compliance, aiming for Good → Outstanding
  • Oversee referrals, admissions and placements, ensuring the right matches
  • Embed strong safeguarding, therapeutic and child-centred practices
  • Drive quality through audits, Reg 44/45 readiness and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced Registered Manager within children’s residential care
  • Strong track record with Ofsted (Good or Outstanding)
  • Confident leading a new home registration or turnaround
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
  • Resilient, hands-on leader with a genuine passion for improving outcomes
  • Full UK driving licence
