A well‑established care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a home delivering residential and nursing care, including dementia care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home.
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing and care teams.
  • Lead on care planning, risk assessments and clinical decision‑making.
  • Manage medication systems, audits and clinical governance.
  • Support residents with complex nursing and dementia care needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead clinical supervision, appraisals and competency assessments.
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience as Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse.
  • Strong clinical experience within elderly and dementia care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • Sponsorship not available.
