Salary: Up to £39,600 per annum (inclusive of location allowance).

Hours: 37.5 per week, 13 shifts per month (days and nights, 50/50 split).

We are recruiting a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join an established eating disorder service in Midhurst, West Sussex. The service supports adults aged 18–25 with conditions including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and atypical eating disorders. This is a rewarding clinical role within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to service users within an eating disorder setting.
  • Lead assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Observe, record, and report service user changes accurately.
  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues and junior team members.
  • Promote positive teamwork within a busy ward environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC PIN.
  • Completed Preceptorship – evidence required.
  • Experience within mental health, eating disorders, or inpatient settings.
  • Strong team‑working and communication skills.
  • Caring, compassionate, and self‑motivated approach.

Service

  • Specialist eating disorder unit.
  • 12‑bed inpatient service (currently 7 occupied).
  • MDT including Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Dietician, OT, and Social Worker.
  • 2 nurses and 6 HCAs per shift.
