Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD / RGN) – Mental Health
Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full‑Time

We are recruiting a Registered Nurse to join an established mental health clinic in the Barnet area, providing care for young people and adults with acute mental health needs and personality disorders. The service includes a CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure unit for young people aged 13–18, operating within a 24‑hour care environment.
Please note: A minimum of 12 months post‑qualification experience is essential for this role.
The Role
- Deliver high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to service users with acute mental health needs.
- Lead assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Observe, record, and report service user changes accurately.
- Provide mentorship and support to colleagues and junior team members.
- Promote positive teamwork within a busy inpatient environment.
Requirements
- Qualified RMN or RNLD (RGN with mental health experience considered).
- Valid NMC PIN.
- Minimum 12 months post‑qualification experience – essential.
- Experience within mental health or CAMHS settings desirable.
- Strong team‑working, communication, and clinical skills.
- Caring, compassionate, and self‑motivated approach.
The Service
Established 24‑hour mental health clinic. Adults and young people with acute mental health needs and personality disorders.
CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure provision for young people aged 13–18.
Commutable Areas: Potters Bar, Barnet, Enfield, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Waltham Cross and surrounding areas.
