We are working with a leading private fertility clinic renowned for its innovation in natural and mild IVF. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Clinical Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join their high‐performing medical team. Role Objective
As a Clinical Fellow in IVF and Reproductive Medicine, you will be instrumental in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing fertility treatment. You'll join a pioneering team and work within a structured and supportive clinical environment with a strong focus on patient satisfaction, safety, and success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure effective clinical management of patients.
- Perform consultations, ultrasound scans, egg collections, embryo transfers, and other procedures independently or under supervision, progressing towards competency.
- Provide safe and high‐quality care to patients at all times.
- Demonstrate resilience and deliver exceptional patient care under pressure.
- Be available for emergency call‐outs, weekend shifts, and bank holiday duties as scheduled.
- Contribute to a rota system to ensure efficient and consistent clinical service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits to uphold high success rates and minimise clinical complications and incidents.
- Attend clinical and relevant meetings, ensuring follow‐up actions are implemented.
- Actively participate in research, training, and audit activities, engaging in both clinical and research discussions.
- Operate under the supervision of the Medical Director.
- Maintain focus on patient satisfaction, safety, and successful outcomes, achieving target success rates for IVF treatments.
- Ensure full compliance with HFEA and other regulatory standards.
- Efficiently and effectively manage on‐call responsibilities and clinical services.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or Equivalent) and full registration with the GMC.
- Completion of Foundation Training (FY1 and FY2).
- Completion of Core Medical Training or equivalent (e.g., internal medicine training (IMT) or obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) training).
- Significant experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, typically through specialty training.
- Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) or equivalent is highly advantageous.
- Previous clinical experience in reproductive medicine or IVF, including assisted reproductive technologies (ART).
- Proficiency in ultrasound‐guided egg collection and embryo transfer.
- Strong clinical management skills in fertility treatment.
- Experience in conducting or contributing to clinical research and audits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organisational skills.
