Group Care Home Manager
Location: Maidstone Area, Kent
Salary: £65,000 per annum (+ performance bonus)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting a Group Care Home Manager to oversee an established portfolio of residential care homes across Kent. This is a senior operational role within a well-established, family-originated care provider operating multiple homes across Kent and Medway. The successful candidate will provide governance oversight, management support, and operational leadership across multiple sites.
Role
- Oversee governance inspections and audits across the care home portfolio
- Provide temporary operational cover in the absence of individual Home Managers
- Conduct Home Manager supervisions and appraisals
- Support Home Managers with HR matters and staff management
- Advise senior leadership on operational issues across the homes
- Liaise with local authorities, CQC, and NHS partners
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and CQC standards are consistently met
- Review finance forms for prospective residents and authorise requisitions
Requirements
- Proven experience managing or overseeing multiple CQC-regulated care homes
- Experience managing a large residential care home — essential
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act and CQC framework
- Excellent leadership, governance, and operational management skills
- Experience across older adults, dementia, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities
