This role is based at a leading private clinic dedicated to providing exceptional prenatal care, specialising in advanced fetal medicine, obstetric, and gynaecological services. We are seeking a dedicated, part-time Sonographer with a passion for fetal medicine and women's health.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality fetal medicine, obstetric, and gynaecology ultrasound scans, interpreting and reporting results accurately to inform patient care.
- Collaborate closely with consultant obstetricians and gynaecologists, contributing insights and discussing complex cases to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct timely clinical audits to maintain the highest standards of care and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Deliver information with empathy and clarity, fostering a supportive environment and building trust with patients.
- Commit to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice in fetal medicine and women's health.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sonographer, with at least 3 years within the NHS.
- Technical proficiency in fetal medicine, obstetric, fertility, and gynaecological scanning.
- Strong understanding of genetics and Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT).
- Good working knowledge of OBGYN-specific software, such as Astraia.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver sensitive information with clarity and compassion.
