  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are consistently followed and embedded throughout the home.
  • Supporting the development of effective care planning, risk management and recording processes.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
  • A strong understanding of Ofsted requirements, Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be actively working towards this qualification.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A confident, approachable and inspirational leadership style.
  • A genuine passion for safeguarding and improving the lives of children and young people.
  • Experience of setting up or registering a new children's home would be advantageous, although candidates with strong residential childcare management experience are encouraged to apply.
