Location: Inverurie area, Aberdeenshire | Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour | Hours: Mixed Days and Nights | Permanent contract
Overview
An established independent care home is seeking an experienced Senior Carer to join a small, close‑knit team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team on shift
- Deliver high‑quality personal and person‑centred care
- Administer and manage medication safely
- Support care planning, assessments, and accurate record‑keeping
- Mentor and guide junior care staff
- Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and safeguarding
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care
- Previous senior care experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- SSSC registered (or eligible)
- Compassionate, reliable, and person‑centred approach
- Sponsorship not available
