We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a growing domiciliary care service in Huddersfield. The service currently delivers approximately 900 care hours per week with significant new contract growth incoming. This is a hands-on operational role for a driven manager who can maintain compliance, grow the private client base, and build a strong workforce.
The Role
- Take full operational responsibility for the domiciliary care service
- Ensure CQC compliance, safeguarding, audits, and quality standards are met
- Lead and support a team including a Care Coordinator, Field Supervisor, and Admin
- Drive private client growth alongside expanding local authority contracts
- Lead on staff recruitment and retention — a key priority for this service
- Manage care planning, documentation, and service performance
- Improve internal operations and office processes
- Manage a workforce of approximately 40 care workers
Requirements
- Proven experience within domiciliary care management — essential
- Strong CQC compliance knowledge and inspection experience
- Experience recruiting and retaining care staff
- Commercially minded with an appetite for growing private packages
- NVQ / Level 5 in Leadership and Management (attained or willing to enrol)
- Full UK driving licence — essential
- Willing to step up, take ownership, and drive improvement
