Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the development and operational management of a growing Supported Living service.
You will secure CQC registration, drive quality, and shape the future of our adult care provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational development and growth of the Supported Living service.
- Support and oversee the organisation’s CQC registration process.
- Ensure services operate in full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
- Develop and implement robust operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor quality assurance, audits, governance, and compliance.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers and support teams.
- Drive occupancy growth and support business development opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and service quality.
- Support continuous improvement across all areas of the service.
About You
We’re looking for an operational leader who can work independently and confidently lead a growing Supported Living service.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience managing Supported Living or Adult Social Care services.
- Experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC‑regulated service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Experience supporting service growth, mobilisation, or business development.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent), or a Registered Nurse qualification suitable for CQC registration.
- Ability to work independently and lead operational development with minimal supervision.
