Senior Carer - Domiciliary Care
Location: Glasgow Salary: £23,500 per annum (rising to £24,500 after 6 months probation) Hours: Full-Time, 7:00am - 10:00pm (shifts with breaks) Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (minimum 3 days one week, 4 the next - flexible rota) Contract: Permanent Sponsorship: Not available
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users in their own homes
- Lead and support junior care staff on shift
- Assist with medication administration and accurate record keeping
- Carry out care plan reviews and report changes in service user condition
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding and care standards
- Work flexibly across a 4 on 4 off rota pattern
Requirements
- NVQ / SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care - essential
- Previous experience in a senior carer or supervisory role
- Full UK driving licence - essential
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach
- Commutable Areas Glasgow, Paisley, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Motherwell, Hamilton, East Kilbride and surrounding areas.
