This is a well-established and growing children’s residential provider, operating 10 homes with a consistent growth of 2–3 new homes per year over the last five years. They invest in their managers, offer strong central support, and retain leadership long-term. Managers are trusted to run the home effectively, lead teams, and achieve excellent outcomes for children, while central services take care of additional functions.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Open and register a new 2-bed EBD home
  • Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team
  • Ensure the home operates in line with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
  • Maintain high standards across staffing, compliance, and care planning
  • Prepare the home for Ofsted inspection and continuous improvement

  • Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Ofsted Outstanding bonus: £2,500
  • Occupancy bonus: £500 per quarter

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or currently undertaking)
  • Strong experience in children’s residential care
  • Previous Registered Manager experience preferred
  • Experienced Deputy Managers ready to step up will be considered if they have substantial experience
  • Confident, child-focused, and able to lead a home independently
