The Role:
- Lead the registration and mobilisation of a new children’s home
- Build, develop and manage a high-performing staff team
- Create a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people with EBD, autism and/or learning disabilities
- Take full responsibility for Ofsted compliance, aiming for Good → Outstanding
- Oversee referrals, admissions and placements, ensuring the right matches
- Embed strong safeguarding, therapeutic and child-centred practices
- Drive quality through audits, Reg 44/45 readiness and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Registered Manager within children’s residential care
- Strong track record with Ofsted (Good or Outstanding)
- Confident leading a new home registration or turnaround
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
- Resilient, hands-on leader with a genuine passion for improving outcomes
- Full UK driving licence
