Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

Location: Croydon Area

Salary: Circa £45,000 per year (DOE)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week + on-call duties

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established family‑run domiciliary care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead and develop its service in the Croydon area. The organisation specialises in delivering high-quality care to elderly people who wish to remain living independently in their own homes.

The Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
  • Conduct client assessments and ensure person-centred care planning
  • Recruit, manage, and develop office and care staff
  • Maintain CQC compliance and governance standards
  • Manage audits, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Build relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Support service growth through community engagement and local networking

Commutable From Purley, Wallington, Carshalton, Mitcham, Coulsdon, Epsom, Banstead, Thornton Heath, Bromley and surrounding South London / Surrey areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to lead a respected domiciliary care service and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Previous experience in domiciliary care management or senior leadership
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Experience managing teams and delivering high-quality care services
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to participate in on-call support for staff and clients
