An established care provider is seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Lead to provide strong clinical leadership within a well-established care home in Croydon. This key leadership role focuses on delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care, supporting nursing teams, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
  • Oversee and ensure delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care
  • Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decision‑making
  • Monitor and improve key clinical indicators (falls, wounds, infections, weight loss)
  • Manage medication systems and clinical audits
  • Support residents with complex needs, including dementia, frailty, and palliative care
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead clinical supervision, appraisals, and competency assessments
  • Support inspection readiness and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical experience within elderly care settings
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse role
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams
