Children’s Home – Registered Manager

Salary Up to £55,000 Bonuses (DOE)

Location: Northeast Essex

About the Role

  • Lead, motivate and develop a skilled staff team
  • Create a safe, nurturing, therapeutic home environment
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and compliance
  • Achieve and maintain Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality standards
  • Work closely with therapeutic professionals, education services and external partners
  • Manage budgets, staffing, safeguarding and operational performance

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within residential childcare
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing and supervising staff
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)
  • A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A child-focused, therapeutic approach

Salary & Rewards Package

  • Salary: £47,500 – £55,000 per annum
  • Quarterly performance bonuses up to £18,000 per year
  • £5,000 relocation package (where applicable)
  • 26 days annual leave bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 2 years
  • Additional 3.5 days paid leave (birthday, wellbeing, volunteering & festive time)
