Care Coordinator β Domiciliary Care
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: Β£26,000 β Β£28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

An established domiciliary care provider is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join a friendly, close-knit team supporting adults across Wiltshire to live safely and independently at home. This is a hands-on, varied role combining office-based coordination with field supervision, reporting to the Registered Manager.
The Role
- Coordinate day-to-day rotas, visit changes, staff availability, and cover
- Turn new care packages into accurate schedules and clear carer instructions
- Monitor late, missed, and short visits and follow up promptly
- Maintain accurate records on the care management system
- Carry out quality assurance visits, spot checks, and support visits
- Complete carer introductions for new client matches
- Support Care Workers with care plans, medication prompts, and moving & handling
- Complete medication competency observations
- Escalate safeguarding, medication, and risk concerns same day
- Support recruitment administration, audits, and inspection readiness
- Cover occasional visits when required
Requirements
- Care Coordinator experience is essential
- Experience in domiciliary care, community care, or supported living
- Confidence observing practice and supporting Care Workers to improve
- Strong organisational and rota management skills
- Understanding of safeguarding, medication, and risk escalation
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Sponsorship is NOT available for this role
Desirable
- Experience as a Senior Carer, Field Supervisor, or QA role
- Experience with digital care management systems (e.g. Birdie)
- Experience supporting CQC inspections and audits
