Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a talented and ambitious Specialist or Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join their high‑performing medical team in Birmingham. Role
As a Specialist or Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing fertility treatment. You’ll be part of a pioneering team in a supportive clinical environment, with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction, safety, and outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective clinical management of patients alongside fellow consultants.
- Conduct consultations, transvaginal ultrasound scans, egg collections, embryo transfers, and other IVF‑related procedures.
- Take part in the on‑call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, auditing your own practice regularly.
- Support the clinic’s growth strategy with professionalism and innovation.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attend clinical meetings and contribute to research, training, and audit programmes.
- Represent the clinic at open evenings and patient‑facing events when required.
- Ensure compliance with HFEA and all relevant regulatory frameworks.
Candidate Requirements
- Full GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
- MRCOG or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Proven competence in IVF‑related procedures, including transvaginal scanning.
- Relevant Specialist or Consultant‑level experience in Reproductive Medicine.
