The Role
- Take overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Drive occupancy growth, fee rate development, and financial performance
- Lead, recruit, and develop a motivated and high-performing team
- Ensure full compliance with RQIA regulations, health and safety, and care standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
- Represent the home as Registered Manager within the local community
- Oversee care quality, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to business planning and strategic development alongside the Regional Manager
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with valid NMC PIN β essential
- Proven experience as a Home Manager or senior care leader
- Strong knowledge of RQIA regulatory requirements and National Minimum Standards
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and driving occupancy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of up-to-date CPD
- Registered Manager's Award (desirable)
