About Psych Health: Psych Health, part of the Health Partners group, is one of the leading providers of psychological services to the workplace sector. Established in 2008, and proud to still be a clinically led organisation, we place our clinical work and the quality of it at the heart of everything we do. Working across a varied and rapidly expanding client base including employers, insurers and Occupational Health providers, we provide high quality psychological assessment and therapy across a diverse range of sectors.
At Psych Health, we believe that excellence in clinical care is achieved by supporting our clinicians to do what they do best. We are passionate about helping people get better, stay better and live better and by creating a truly nurturing culture not only are our clinicians able to grow, develop and thrive but our patients benefit from our ongoing commitment to improve patient outcomes.
As part of our mission to be known as the highest quality and most innovative mental health service in the UK, led by a growing team of dedicated clinicians, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of one day per week based at our client JLR's site in Gaydon (West Midlands). We can offer hybrid contracts on either a part-time or full-time basis, ranging from a minimum of 2 days / 15 hours per week to a maximum of 5 days / 37.5 hours per week, catering to your work-life preferences. We are happy to offer flexibility regarding the pattern of your working hours, within service parameters. Working hours must include a Tuesday or a Thursday to attend weekly team meetings (on a remote day).
Role Outline: This is a fast-paced, hybrid clinical role, where you'll have variety in your caseload and be treated as a valued member of the team. On a weekly basis, you'll deliver exceptional one-to-one psychological triage, assessment and brief, goal-oriented treatment to a caseload of adult patients who are motivated to get well and presenting with varied clinical presentations and contextual factors, working both face-to-face and remotely. You'll also benefit from fortnightly individual clinical supervision and weekly team meetings, which rotate between specially in-house curated CPD sessions, training, peer supervision, self-care practices, and team business updates.
Your role will involve a broad spectrum of clinical responsibilities, promising a dynamic and fulfilling work experience. In addition to the core clinical focus of the role, you will also have the opportunity from time to time to get involved with other exciting elements, such as:
- Developing specialist capabilities in workplace-focused psychological therapy, along with the creation and facilitation of related training programmes.
- Conducting specialist assessments for our clients (e.g. fitness for work; vulnerable role assessments, neurodiversity assessments, and cognitive assessments).
- Designing and delivering impactful mental health workshops for our key clients.
- Being supported to create a personalised annual development plan, crafted to realise your long-term professional ambitions.
What we are looking for:
- A HCPC-registered Clinical / Counselling Psychologist with relevant clinical experience, preferably in Primary Care or occupational health settings.
- A solid background in delivering a variety of evidence-based psychological therapies and brief, solution-focused interventions both face-to-face and remotely via video call.
- Experience working with a diverse demographic, encompassing adults, is essential.
- Candidates with experience of delivering neurodiversity assessments will be highly regarded.
- A commitment to personal growth, skill acquisition, and active contribution to the development of our services.
- Experience in designing and delivering mental health-related training sessions or workshops is highly desirable.
- A team-oriented individual who is eager to join and enhance our large and expanding collective of psychology professionals (CBT Therapists, Counsellors, and Psychologists), enthused by improving workplace health.
