The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will provide clear visible and professional advice to our client's employees by providing the full Occupational Health remit in line with the client contract including consultation, advice, education, medical assessments, and D&A testing where appropriate.
The role involves conducting case management appointments, assessing employee fitness for work, and issuing fitness certificates in line with Health Partners policies. You will be responsible for writing to GP's and specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act. You will respond to client and manager queries, maintain accurate records per NMC standards, and provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation. The role also entails managing site medical incidents, supporting the Occupational Health Nursing team through training and development, and contributing to a proactive Occupational Health Service.
Additional duties include maintaining NMC registration, designing health promotion initiatives, fostering effective communication with managers, managing equipment maintenance, and travelling between our clients' sites.
What we are looking for:
- Registered Nurse (Part 1), with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma.
- Excellent time management skills coupled with meticulous written skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and an understanding of your own competence, how this relates to your practice, and when to elevate/seek support to ensure safe practice.
- Confidence with IT and a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practice of data protection and confidentiality in OH.
- Experience delivering case management and the provision of OH advice.
Hours: The role is full-time 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, and you will be expected to work during the core hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Location: This role is based at our client's site in Acton and surrounding area.
