We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Emergency Treatment Nurse or Emergency Nurse Practitioner to work in a varied and exciting role at our client site Hinkley Point C in their busy Medical & Urgent Care centre. The site operates 24/7 and we require candidates to work shifts including days, nights and weekends. This role involves a two-stage interview process. Candidates who progress to the second stage will be required to attend an onsite interview where you will complete a practical assessment, which will include an Advanced Life Support (ALS) scenario and the assessment of a limb as part of the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency response covering trauma & medical emergencies on site.
- Walk in treatment service for injury & illness.
- Health surveillance & Occupational Health medicals.
- Drug and alcohol testing.
- Cannulation when required.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated NMC-registered nurse or practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Accident & Emergency (A&E) care, coupled with a valid UK manual driving licence and relevant life support qualifications (Immediate or Advanced Life Support). This role requires a versatile professional with a strong clinical skill set, including the ability to administer immunisations and vaccinations, perform baseline measurements, and conduct cannulation. You will also be responsible for conducting fitness for work assessments, drug and alcohol testing, and health surveillance, as well as delivering health promotion initiatives. In addition, you will provide emergency treatment care, manage minor injuries, and perform wound care and resuscitation.
Hours
This is a full time position working shifts, including nights and weekends with enhanced pay.

This is an on-site role, working at our client site, Hinkley Point C, Somerset.
Salary
You can enjoy the benefits we have to offer such as attractive salary of £43,260 for an Emergency Treatment Nurse and £48,410 for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Plus, enhanced rate of pay for nights and weekends.
