We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Wellbeing Physiologist to join our team, working across different JLR locations including EPMC Wolverhampton and Castle Bromwich. In this exciting role, you’ll support the onsite health and wellbeing service, delivering Wellbeing Assessments and engaging Health Promotional activities. You’ll work closely with the client to ensure their business objectives and needs are met, all while upholding Health Partners’ core goals and values.

  • To deliver lifestyle clinical assessments of patients.
  • To conduct one‑to‑one and group‑based health and wellbeing interventions.
  • To provide evidence‑based advice tailored to the patient’s health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behaviour change.
  • To formulate and implement written action plans based on treatment prescription, which is modified for the applicable stage of change.
  • To support patients living with lifestyle‑induced disease to make positive and sustainable lifestyle choices for enhanced chronic disease management.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees to make positive lifestyle changes, including nutrition and exercise habits.
  • Give assistance and reassurance to clients during their medical tests.
  • To deliver evidence‑based exercise sessions to groups.
  • To use specialised equipment to perform clinical physiological tests.
  • To record and analyse physiological data.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment in line with HP Policy, reporting faults etc.
  • To interpret clinical data and assess patients’ clinical risk, making informed decisions whether to escalate to GP or OH practitioners for further investigation and management.
  • Act within the boundaries set out by the company’s policies to ensure sensitive personal information is protected as required by law, regulatory bodies, ethics and best practice.

What we are looking for:

  • We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual who is qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, or Sports Therapy.
  • You’ll bring previous experience in a sport, medical, health, wellbeing, or fitness environment, with knowledge in areas such as human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology, or nutrition.
  • An understanding of workplace wellness and wellbeing strategies is essential, alongside experience in delivering health assessments or knowledge of clinical measures.
  • You’ll have a proven track record of delivering impactful health interventions to individuals or groups and a clear understanding of professional accountability within your scope of practice.
  • As an excellent communicator with a proactive and positive approach, you’ll share our passion for improving individuals’ health and wellbeing.

Hours: This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Location: This role is working at both our EPMC Wolverhampton site and Castle Bromwich. You will need use of your own vehicle and be willing to travel.

Salary: The salary for this role is between £28,000K and £32,000K depending on qualifications and experience.
