As a Health Screening GP at Health Partners, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based health screening services to employees of a corporate client in Liverpool. Working flexibly for two days per month, you will provide professional GP consultations, maintain exceptional standards of patient communication and clinical record keeping, and help ensure every individual receives safe, effective, and person-centred care.

In this role you will contribute to clinical excellence by keeping up to date with medical developments, participating in audits, appraisals, and continuing professional development activities, while ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and company policies. You will also support the wider clinical team through collaboration, mentoring, and contributing to a positive and professional working environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GMC-registered GP with MRCGP or equivalent experience who is looking for a flexible, rewarding role within occupational health and preventative care.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Maintains a high standard of evidence based medical practice for GP consultations and health screening
  • Maintains high standards of communication with patients
  • Maintains high standards for professional record keeping within the clinical team
  • Keeps up to date with all medical developments and evidence based practice
  • Attends regular practice meetings and clinical educational meetings (both internal and external)
  • Undertakes audit, an annual appraisal, maintains Revalidation & Licence to Practise with GMC
  • Ensures compliance with CQC requirements in the practice
  • Ensures compliance with HML procedures and supporting/developing doctors and nurses where needed to ensure that standards are met or exceeded
  • Prepares/reviews Primary Care Policies and procedures and any other policies when required in line with CQC requirements
  • Assists when required with the induction and supervision of nurses and doctors and their training and development
  • Contributes to the establishment and maintenance of client relationships
  • Supports sales and marketing function when required
What We Are Looking For
  • GMC registered with Licence to Practice
  • MRCGP or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of work-related health hazards
  • Knowledge of health and safety and employment law
  • Able to undertake risk assessments
  • Confident in dictation of medical reports
  • Good telephone manner
  • Commercial understanding
