Are you an experienced Occupational Health Physician (OHP) looking for a rewarding role with case diversity, opportunities for professional growth, and flexibility? Health Partners is delighted to offer you an opportunity to join our dedicated team delivering exceptional services to a key client.
Contract: Permanent; full-time and part-time opportunities (minimum of 2 days per week).
Locations: Hybrid working arrangement: On-site for a minimum of 2 days per week at our client's site in York. Remaining hours can be worked remotely. Health Partners supports flexible working arrangements and appreciates the importance of balancing work and personal responsibilities. We are happy to discuss flexible options for this role.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct Occupational Health Assessments and provide evidence-based advice to employers and employees.
- Undertake case management for a range of health issues, including fitness for work, workplace adjustments and return-to-work planning.
- Conduct consultations, combining clarity of thought and support for referring managers and employees.
- Provide clear, concise, professional reports for employers, outlining medical opinions and recommendations.
- Liaise with employers, HR teams and other healthcare professionals to support employee wellbeing and organisational health goals.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified and experienced Occupational Health Physician (DOccMed/MFOM/FFOM).
- At least three years of clinical experience in occupational health and safety critical referrals.
- Rail and pensions experience desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in occupational health, including case management, workplace assessments and health surveillance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to occupational health challenges with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant workplace health legislation and guidelines (Equality Act, Health & Safety at Work Act).
