We are recruiting a passionate MSK Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary musculoskeletal team at Health Partners Group. Experience in occupational health is advantageous but not essential; new or recently qualified physiotherapists are welcome to apply, especially those interested in our Graduate Training Programme. The role is based onâsite at client sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland, supporting employees with musculoskeletal health concerns and injuries, and a car licence is preferred.
Responsibilities:- Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
- Effectively rehabilitating employees with MSK disorders, whether workârelated or not.
- Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
- Collecting statistical information to support report generation.
- Contributing to or running health promotion events.
- Classifying presenting musculoskeletal disorders into workârelatedness categories.
- Preparing reports for management, detailing fitness to work and recommending adjustments, either shortâterm, longâterm or permanent.
- Communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team.
- Conducting DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offering prophylactic advice; recommending changes or equipment required following assessments. Training is provided.
- Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK illâhealth. Training is provided.
- Degree (MSc or BSc) in Physiotherapy.
- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care, or for new graduates a desire to specialise in this area.
- Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Customerâfocused, flexible, efficient and highly organised.
- Able to plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives in collaboration with the Team Leader for your business unit.
- Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and fitness for work assessments.
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Membership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00â4:45 Monday to Thursday, and 8:00â12:30 Friday.
Location:Onâsite at client sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland.
Salary:Experienced clinicians: ÂŁ38,000âÂŁ42,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Newly qualified staff completing our Graduate Training Programme: starting salary ÂŁ32,000 per annum, increasing after completion.
