We are currently recruiting for a passionate MSK Physiotherapist to join our talented, multidisciplinary musculoskeletal team here at Health Partners Group. Whilst experience in Occupational Health would be advantageous, it is not essential. We are also willing to accept enquiries from new or recently qualified physiotherapists who may be interested in our Graduate Training Programme.

In this exciting and varied role, you will be based on-site at our client’s sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland, supporting their employees with musculoskeletal health concerns and injuries, therefore a car driver would be preferred. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional MSK service, making a meaningful difference to the everyday lives of the employees on-site. The role focuses on minimising employee illness, injury, and absence, whilst also working hard to restore function after injury or illness. What you'll be doing:

  • Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Effectively rehabilitating employees with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
  • Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
  • Collecting statistical information to support report generation.
  • Contributing to or running health promotion events.
  • Classifying presenting musculoskeletal disorders into work-relatedness categories.
  • Preparing reports for management, detailing fitness to work and recommending adjustments, either short-term, long-term, or permanent.
  • Communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team.
  • Conducting DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offering prophylactic advice.
  • Recommending changes or equipment required following DSE assessments.
  • Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree (MSc or BSc) in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care, or for new graduates a desire to specialise in this area.
  • Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Customer-focused, flexible, efficient, and highly organised.
  • Able to plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives set in collaboration with the Team Leader for your business unit.

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and fitness for work assessments.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Membership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).

Hours: This role is full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. The working hours are 8am to 4.45pm between Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 12.30pm on Fridays.

Location: On-site working at our client sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland.

For experienced clinicians we are offering a competitive salary range between £38,000 - £42,000 per annum for this role, dependent on experience and qualifications. For newly qualified staff who would be expected to complete our supportive Graduate Training Programme, the starting salary is from £32,000 per annum, which increases following the completion of this.
