Hybrid Work Arrangement

As part of our mission to be known as the highest quality and most innovative mental health service in the UK, led by a growing team of dedicated clinicians, we have an exciting opportunity for a CBT Therapist to join our team on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of one day per week based at our client JLR’s site in Halewood, Liverpool. We are able to offer hybrid work arrangements, with a minimum of one day per week on‑site at JLR Halewood, and the remaining days working from home. We can offer hybrid contracts on either a part‑time or full‑time basis, ranging from a minimum of 2 days / 15 hours per week to a maximum of 5 days / 37.5 hours per week, catering to your work‑life preferences. We are happy to offer flexibility regarding the pattern of your working hours, within service parameters. Working hours must include a Tuesday or a Thursday to attend weekly team meetings.

Client – JLR

JLR have begun introducing on‑site ‘Centres for Wellbeing’ (CfW) at 6 of their UK sites. The CfWs will provide a ‘one‑stop‑shop’ for reactive and preventative support for their employees covering three Wellbeing Pillars: MIND, BODY and LIFE. The CfWs aim is to minimise employee illness, injury, and absence, whilst also working hard to restore function, both physical and psychological, after injury or illness. These services augment and work alongside the current OH referral process. Psych Health are the chosen provider to support the introduction and ongoing management of the MIND Pillar across these new CfWs, presenting unique opportunities to be involved with this ground‑breaking project from its inception. Not only will you be providing the highest levels of patient care for people in need of mental health support, you will also get the opportunity to work collaboratively with other equally passionate healthcare professionals from the BODY and LIFE Pillars.

Role Outline

This is a fast‑paced, hybrid clinical role, where you’ll have variety in your caseload and be treated as a valued member of the team. On a weekly basis, you'll deliver exceptional one‑to‑one brief, goal‑oriented cognitive behavioural therapy treatment to a caseload of adult patients who are motivated to get well and presenting with varied clinical presentations and contextual factors, working both face‑to‑face and remotely. All of our patients are referred to Psych Health via workplace resources such as Occupational Health, on‑site GPs, private medical insurers or income protection insurers. You’ll also benefit from fortnightly individual clinical supervision and weekly team meetings, which rotate between specially in‑house curated CPD sessions, training, peer supervision, self‑care practices, and team business updates. You'll also be supported to create a personalised annual development plan, crafted to realise your long‑term professional ambitions.

Qualifications

  • BABCP accredited CBT Therapist.
  • Holder of a post‑graduate diploma qualification in CBT.
  • Experience in a similar role, providing high intensity CBT interventions, ideally in primary care or workplace/Occupational Health settings.
  • Individuals who are keen to develop in their role as a CBT Therapist and learn new skills in new contexts.
  • Individuals who are wishing to offer a mixture of one‑to‑one online therapy and face‑to‑face too.
  • A team‑oriented individual who is eager to join and enhance our large and expanding collective of psychology professionals (CBT Therapists, Counsellors, and Psychologists), enthused by improving workplace health.
  • Experienced working with adults (essential) and has a broad range of clinical experience to draw upon.
  • Ideally, you will also have experience working with children, young people and families, although this is not essential.
  • Experience in designing and delivering mental health‑related training sessions or workshops is highly desirable.
  • EMDR training is desirable.
