We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Health Physician (OHP) to deliver expert medical advice and guidance to our client. This role offers case diversity, professional growth and a hybrid work arrangement.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct Occupational Health assessments and provide evidence‑based advice to employers and employees.
- Manage cases across fitness‑for‑work, workplace adjustments, and return‑to‑work planning.
- Conduct clinical consultations with managers and employees.
- Prepare clear, concise, professional reports for employers.
- Liaise with employers, HR teams and other healthcare professionals to support employee wellbeing and organisational goals.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Occupational Health Physician (DOccMed / MFOM / FFOM).
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in occupational health, safety and critical referrals.
- Rail and pensions experience desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge in occupational health, case management, workplace assessments and health surveillance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant workplace health legislation and guidelines (Equality Act, Health & Safety at work Act).
Hours: Permanent; full‑time and part‑time (minimum 2 days per week).
Location: Hybrid arrangement – minimum 2 days on site per week (1 day in Birmingham and 1 day in Bristol) with option for additional home‑based days. Remaining hours remote.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
