We are looking for an Occupational Health Physician (OHP) to play a key role in delivering expert medical advice and guidance to our clients. What you will be doing:
- Conducting Occupational Health Assessment and provide evidence-based advice to employers and employees.
- Undertake case management for a range of health issues, including fitness for work, workplace adjustments and return to work planning.
- Conducting consultations, that combine clarity of thought and support to the referring managers and employee.
- Provide clear, concise and professional reports for employers, outlining medical opinions and recommendations.
- Liaise with employers, HR teams and other healthcare professionals to support employee wellbeing and organisational health goals.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified and experienced Occupational Health Physician (DOccMed/AFOM/MFOM/FFOM).
- At least three years of clinical experience in occupational health and safety critical referrals.
- Rail and pensions experience desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in occupational health, including case management, workplace assessments, and health surveillance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to occupational health challenges combined with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant workplace health legislation and guidelines (e.g., Equality Act, Health & Safety at Work Act).
Hours: Full time or 4 days a week
Location: Successful candidates will be expected to work on-site, up to 4 days a week at our clients' site in Birmingham and Bristol. For full time, the remainder of your contractual hours can be worked remotely.
Salary: Up to £140,000 FTE depending on qualifications and experience.
