Role Outline
Are you a dedicated CBT Therapist looking to make a significant impact within the workplace environment? Join our team at Psych Health, a UK leading provider of workplace mental health services, and become an integral part of our mission to create healthier, happier, and more productive workplaces across the country, by working on a one-to-one basis with employees.
We are seeking passionate, skilled, and empathetic Cognitive Behavioural Therapists who are committed to delivering exceptional care and brief, evidence-based interventions. At Psych Health, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, helping individuals to overcome a range of psychological challenges and enhancing their wellbeing in both their work and home lives.
You’ll be supported by a large admin team so you can focus on your role being purely clinical, offering one-to-one CBT therapy virtually to the employees of the clients we work with, following a brief, solution-focused model (between 8-12 sessions on average).
As a core part of your typical working week, you will also benefit from fortnightly individual clinical supervision and weekly team meetings focused on peer supervision, self-care slots, CPD and training, and team business updates.
We can offer both remote positions or hybrid positions (across the West Midlands or Liverpool, working on our JLR contract), available Monday to Friday on a part-time or full-time basis. We offer contracts ranging from a minimum of 2 days (15 hours) to 5 days (37.5 hours per week) per week, catering to your work-life preferences.
What you’ll be doing:
- This is a fast-paced clinical role, where you’ll have variety in your caseload and be treated as a valued member of the team.
- On a weekly basis, you’ll deliver exceptional one-to-one, brief, goal-oriented cognitive behavioural therapy treatment to a caseload of adult patients who are motivated to get well and presenting with varied clinical presentations and contextual factors.
- All of our patients are referred to Psych Health via workplace resources such as Occupational Health, on-site GPs, private medical insurers or income protection insurers.
What are looking for:
- BABCP accredited CBT Therapist.
- Holder of a post-graduate diploma qualification in CBT.
- Experience in a similar role, providing high intensity CBT interventions, ideally in primary care or workplace/Occupational Health settings.
- Individuals who are keen to develop in their role as a CBT Therapist and learn new skills in new contexts.
- Team player who is keen to be part of a large and growing group of mental health clinicians and able to work effectively in a fast-paced service setting.
- Experienced working with adults (essential) and has a broad range of clinical experience to draw upon.
- Ideally, you will also have experience working with children, young people and families, although this is not essential.
- Experience in designing and delivering mental health-related training sessions or workshops is highly desirable.
- EMDR training is desirable.
