What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carry out alcohol and drug testing using the relevant paperwork and equipment including alcohol testing; urine or oral fluid drug testing; onsite drug testing; or straight to laboratory drug testing following strict Chain of Custody procedures.
  • Carry out alcohol and drug testing in accordance with Company and Network Rail standards.
  • Attend various client sites to carry out scheduled and unscheduled testing.
  • Ensure arrival on client site within a two-hour timeframe when activated for a call‑out.
  • Provide administration team weekly availability, please note that callouts may be offered at short notice, therefore requiring a degree of flexibility with availability.
  • Ensure collection of accurate information ensuring accurate completion of protocols and other paperwork.
  • Where applicable support the Client Services Team on process improvements.
  • To promote Hampton Knight in a positive way.
  • When speaking with clients ensure a professional manner is used.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience within the alcohol and drug industry is not essential as full training is provided for the role.
  • Full UK Driving licence.

  • Competitive rate of pay in line with the type of testing carried out for scheduled or unscheduled work and the rates can also vary for in‑hours and out‑of‑hours work helping you boost your earning potential.
  • Reimbursed for any ongoing training, and other elements of the role such as doing stocktakes and postage drop offs.
  • Appropriate expenses covered such as parking, mileage and postage. With a short turnaround of payment being processed.
  • Access to an auto‑enrolment pension scheme where an employee can contribute 6% into your pension pot, and as your employer we will contribute up to 6% into your pension pot. You can also choose to increase your own contribution if you like.
  • As a variable hour worker you will accrue 33 days of annual leave per year inclusive of the public and statutory bank holidays based on each hour that you work.
  • There is length of service increases. The more you work with us the more holiday you will have the ability to accrue.
  • This is a flexible opportunity, so you can tell us when you are available for work, giving you the ability to choose your working hours, though we seek as much availability as possible.
