The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out alcohol and drug testing using the relevant paperwork and equipment including alcohol testing; urine or oral fluid drug testing; onsite drug testing; or straight to laboratory drug testing following strict Chain of Custody procedures.
  • Carry out alcohol and drug testing in accordance with Company and Network Rail standards.
  • Attend various client sites to carry out scheduled and unscheduled testing.
  • Ensure arrival on client site within a two‑hour timeframe when activated for a call‑out.
  • Provide administration team weekly availability, allowing for short‑notice call‑outs and flexibility with availability.
  • Ensure accurate completion of protocols and other paperwork.
  • Support the Client Services Team on process improvements where applicable.
  • Promote Hampton Knight in a positive way.
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience within the alcohol and drug industry is not essential as full training is provided for the role.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Competitive rate of pay in line with the type of testing carried out for scheduled or unscheduled work; rates can vary for in‑hours and out‑of‑hours work, enhancing earning potential.
  • Reimbursed for ongoing training and other role‑related expenses such as stock‑takes and postage drop‑offs.
  • Appropriate expenses covered, including parking, mileage and postage, with a short payment turnaround.
  • Auto‑enrolment pension scheme: employee can contribute 6%; employer will contribute up to 6%.
  • As a variable‑hour worker, accrue 33 days of annual leave per year inclusive of public and statutory bank holidays based on hours worked.
  • Length‑of‑service increases; more holiday accrual with continued employment.
  • Flexible opportunity allowing you to indicate availability for work, with a preference for as much availability as possible.
