About the Role

Health Now Complex Care is looking for caring, reliable and experienced Complex Care Support Workers to join our team in Grimsby. This is a hands-on and rewarding role supporting an individual with complex healthcare needs. We’re looking for someone who is confident in providing high-quality care and who understands the importance of delivering support safely, respectfully and with compassion.

Essential Experience

  • PEG care
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Cough Assist

Previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs is essential.

Desirable

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A current DBS
  • Relevant healthcare and complex care training
  • Previous experience working in a community or home-care setting

What You'll Be Doing

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support while helping to manage the individual's complex care needs. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting with PEG care and nutritional needs
  • Providing safe and effective tracheostomy care
  • Using Cough Assist equipment appropriately
  • Supporting with personal care and daily routines
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or wellbeing
  • Following individual care and support plans
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Promoting dignity, independence and choice
  • Working closely with the wider care team and healthcare professionals

About You

We’re looking for someone who is kind, patient and dependable, with the confidence and experience needed to support someone with complex medical needs. You should be comfortable working independently while also being a good team player. Most importantly, you should take pride in providing consistent, compassionate care and treating every person with dignity and respect.
