About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic andskilled Registered Nurse who would like to join our multi-disciplinaryinpatient mental health team on a temporary basis.
Our service provides inpatient care foracute through to rehabilitation.

- You area NZ Registered Nurse with the confidence to work autonomously and theresilience to manage a busy workload.
- Youare culturally aware and keen to reduce the barriers that make accessingservices difficult for our Maori clients.
- Youare driven to work in a pro-active manner and embrace change and development.
- Well-developedinterpersonal skills
- Willingnessto work across the Mental Health Inpatient Continuum
Knowledge of:
- Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment andTreatment) Act, 1992
- PPPR Act - Welfare Guardian
- Sensory Modulation Principles in Mental Health
- Mental status examinations and riskassessments.
