District Nurse Opportunity – 0.2 FTE Permanent, Part-time Available

We are excited to offer opportunities for District Nurses to join our interdisciplinary team based at Home Health Care Howick. We are looking for qualified, experienced, and adaptable professionals to join us on a part-time basis.

Role Overview

In this role, you will have the chance to work across a variety of clinical areas, including:

  • Advanced wound care management
  • Continence management
  • Rheumatic fever prophylaxis
  • Palliative care
  • Reablement care: focusing on functional improvement and community participation
  • Hospital in the Home: providing acute nursing care in the community setting

We are seeking autonomous, evidence-based nurses who thrive in a team-oriented environment and are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients in the community.

About the Team

You will be based at Howick Home Health Care, with the potential to work across other bases as required. We also offer mobile working options, supporting flexibility and work-life balance. You will be supported by a dedicated interdisciplinary team, with ongoing professional development, supervision, and education opportunities to enhance your skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Current Full NZ Driver's Licence
  • A strong commitment to quality and service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Post Graduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant clinical area
  • Proficiency or higher on the CCP (RN pathway)
