Education and Qualifications
- Essential criteria: Degree or equivalent and/or professional qualification
- Desirable criteria: Degree in finance/business/management/clinical qualification
Knowledge and Experience
- Essential criteria: Ability to understand complex strategic issues, analyse, resolve difficult problems and make strategic decisions
- Experience of performance management and KPIs
- Commercial acumen
- Significant senior operational leadership experience in a complex, multi-site service environment, including responsibility for service performance and improvement
- Relevant operational planning experience, including service delivery, resilience and transformation
- Board-level working, ideally as a Board member
- Desirable criteria: Experience of Healthcare/social care sector
- Knowledge of the NHS in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire
- Previous Board Director experience, either Executive and ideally, Non-Executive
- A recognised operational or management qualification
- Additional experience or expertise in areas such as clinical practice, patient safety, workforce or organisational transformation
