An opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a 12 month secondment. The role supports designated NSFT clinical services in West Norfolk and reports directly to the Finance Business Partner, supporting the production of accurate and timely financial information. The successful candidates will be working towards a CCAB qualification and have significant financial management experience, although not necessarily with previous NHS or wider public sector experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate complex financial issues effectively with both non-finance and finance staff. The role will follow a hybrid working pattern, in both Trust premises and from home. Dependent on the candidate’s circumstances the formal base may be Norfolk or Suffolk on appointment. NSFT supports flexible working and will consider part‑time and flexible working requests.
Main Duties
- The post holder will have management accounts responsibility for specific clinical departments and will meet regularly with corresponding budget managers.
- In addition, the post holder will support the provision of a comprehensive financial business partnering service by the team to designated clinical and corporate departments.
