Associate Finance Business Partner
Department: Finance
Band 6: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be a key integral part of our small finance team, supporting clinical service leads as well as corporate colleagues with decision making and providing an effective and efficient financial management service. We are proud to be a Level 2 accredited One NHS Finance team, as well as having gained recognition as the HFMA Eastern Branch - Finance Team of the Year Winners 2026
You will report to the Senior Finance Business Partner and contribute a key role in the month end closedown and budget setting for the division and corporate areas you support, ensuring deadlines are met. You will form key relationships with divisional, service and clinical managers, in order to support them in understanding and planning their resources to stay within budget. You will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to support services in budget setting, budgetary management, forecasting, business cases and developing Cost Improvement Plans (CIP). As the successful candidate you will have well developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff across all levels of the organisation.
