Group Chief Financial Officer Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, serving more than two million residents across five hospitals.
The Group Chief Financial Officer will sit on the Board and lead the long‑term financial strategy, estate, facilities and procurement functions, and capital investment, supporting high‑quality, integrated care and driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities Lead finance, estates, facilities and procurement across the NHS organisation.
Set and deliver the long‑term financial strategy in partnership with the Chair and Group CEO.
Oversee capital investment, commercial partnerships and the NHS’s largest estate portfolio.
Advise on investment, procurement and infrastructure decisions, ensuring value for money and supporting transformation and sustainability.
Represent the NHS in national discussions on resource management, inequality and preventive care.
Build inclusive cultures, inspire teams and maintain credibility in a complex, matrixed environment.
Qualifications Extensive financial leadership experience in a large organisation.
Strong financial expertise coupled with executive responsibility for estates and procurement.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, manage complexity and lead inclusive teams.
