Finance Business Partner Support Officer

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Finance department as a Finance Business Partner Support Officer, at Welsh Blood Service (WBS) a Division of Velindre University NHS Trust. We are looking for forward thinking, highly motivated finance professionals.

This role is well suited to someone keen to develop their skills within an NHS environment.

Main duties of the job
The full details of the role are contained within the person spec and Job description, attached.
If successful you will be required to undertake a broad range of financial tasks which enable accurate, comprehensive financial data to be processed through the Oracle ledger system.

  • Support the debt function by the raising and recovery of all WBS income, develop detailed reports on debtor and income information
  • Assist in the production of an accurate monthly financial position ensuring that the timetable is adhered to, including preparing and inputting journals to the financial ledger, ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times.
  • To support the preparation and distribution of the monthly budget holder reports to all WBS budget holders; to answer queries from budget holders and interpret the reports when requested.
  • Assist with the maintenance of finance documents and spreadsheets
  • Provide finance and clerical support to the WBS Finance Business Partnering Team
