Are you passionate about high-quality care environments and motivated by supporting safe, clean, and well-maintained clinical areas? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable NSC Environmental Auditor to join our Hotel Services team within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main Duties

  • Help ensure our hospitals provide a safe, clean and compliant environment for patients, staff and visitors.
  • Work closely with the Infection Prevention & Control Team, Ward and Department Managers, and Estates & Facilities colleagues.
  • Carry out environmental audits, support quality improvement activity, and provide accurate and timely reporting across our sites.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Essential: Good general standard of general education including Maths and English
  • Desirable: ECDL or similar IT qualification

Experience

  • Essential: Previous working experience with demonstrable transferable skills
  • Essential: Recent keyboard and computer experience
  • Desirable: Experience of working within Healthcare Services
  • Desirable: Ability and knowledge of quality control/assessing and ability to use monitoring tools after training

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Essential: Good communication and literacy skills
  • Essential: Ability to work on own initiative/autonomously
