An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join our finance team as the Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Services. The post holder will ensure a professional, effective, responsive and high profile financial management and costing service provision that supports the Trust's short and long term business planning processes.
Main duties of the job
- Working as a business partner, the role will provide expert financial advice to trust directors and service managers in the development of service delivery plans and rationalisation proposals; this will incorporate the development of business cases and formulation of cost improvement programme savings plans.
- This role will have lead responsibility for the production of monthly financial management and costing information, which includes forecasting, detailed analysis of variances from plan, and recommendations on resource control, all of which take place within monthly deadlines.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be CCAB qualified or equivalent and committed to personal development.
- The successful candidate will have knowledge of NHS financial regime and current issues, significant financial management and staff management experience and the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.

The role will be responsible for leading the transformation of business processes in the Finance Contracting and Procurement (FCP) function to drive improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, quality and value for money. You will identify opportunities for process improvement using tested methodologies, consult and engage with stakeholders, develop project plans and coordinate activities to deliver projects to deadlines.
