Role Overview
This position is responsible for implementing patient care models, standards, and delivery systems across multiple locations. It involves investigating patient/family concerns, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality care, and monitoring resource utilization, equipment, supplies, and medications. The role includes providing clinical supervision, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and delegating tasks within scope of practice. Additionally, it requires managing hospital operations, supporting quality improvement initiatives, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops team through coaching, training, performance feedback, and fostering collaboration.
- Manages work units by translating business plans into actionable tasks, ensuring policies are followed, and resolving escalated issues.
- Supports administrative functions, including data analysis, compliance, resource management, and budget oversight.
- Oversees care delivery operations, monitors daily activities, manages multidisciplinary teams, and leads emergency preparedness efforts.
- Leads operational and technological improvements, applying root cause analysis and strategic planning to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensures safe, consistent care delivery by monitoring clinical practices, regulatory compliance, and implementing quality improvement systems.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum three years of patient care delivery experience.
- At least two years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or related field, or six years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support certifications required at hire.
- RN license from primary work state required within six months, with additional state credentials as applicable.
