GULP is growing and we're looking for a Project Manager to run a portfolio of commissions across the UK and help evidence their impact.
Ten years ago, we set out to help primary school children think differently about sugary drinks. Today, Give Up Loving Pop (GULP) is delivered in schools by coaches from the community foundations of professional football and rugby clubs, commissioned by local authority public health teams and the NHS, and its evaluation has been published in the British Dental Journal. With new commissions coming on stream, we’re recruiting a Project Manager to run a portfolio of GULP projects from set-up through to evaluation.
What you’ll do:
- Keep multiple projects on track, on budget and on contract
- Work with club foundations, schools and commissioners so delivery runs smoothly
- Analyse pre- and post-programme survey data and turn it into clear, honest reporting
- Get out and about: observe sessions, meet partners and share what works
Who we’re looking for:
This role suits someone who’s as comfortable with a dataset as they are with a delivery partner. You’ll hold a Master’s degree in public health or a related discipline with a strong quantitative element, have experience of managing several projects at once, and know how to analyse survey data properly, not just count it. Knowledge of community sport is a bonus, not a requirement.

- Hours: Full-time
- Location: Hybrid working, with a minimum of three office-based days a week at 151 Dale Street, Liverpool
- Travel: Regular travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays
