Be part of The Vegan Society's journey as we begin delivering our new three-year strategic plan and create meaningful change. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is central to ensuring the CEO's time and priorities are managed effectively and that communication with internal and external stakeholders is clear and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO's diary, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings, events, and other public engagement activities.
- Provide administrative and minute-taking support for Board and committee meetings.
- Support the CEO with strategic projects as required.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Proven experience supporting the CEO or Director level.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Competence in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with online meeting/event platforms.
- Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach.
Desirable
- Experience in a not-for-profit or mission-driven organisation and knowledge of governance frameworks.
