Senior Occupational Therapist Duties:

  • Lead on assessing and delivering person-centred rehabilitation plans as part of a skilled multi-disciplinary team
  • Support, supervise, and guide junior staff in their clinical development
  • Ensure high standards of care and maintain clinical accountability
  • Collaborate closely with health and social care professionals to coordinate effective therapy
  • Oversee the provision and appropriate use of therapy equipment
  • Contribute to ongoing service improvement and best practice

Senior Occupational Therapist Requirements:

  • HCPC registration – current and valid
  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy (BSc or equivalent)
  • Ongoing evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
  • Postgraduate training relevant to neurological rehabilitation or a related specialty
  • Experience in a relevant clinical setting is desirable – this can include student placements or supervised practice
