Join Health and Care Jersey as a Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for doctors looking to advance their career in emergency medicine or gain valuable experience. As an Emergency Medicine Clinical Fellow, you will be a vital member of the team. Your role will include assessing and treating patients with a variety of conditions while working alongside a full medical and nursing team. There are also opportunities to get involved in aero-medical transfers and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and pathways. The contract is fixed term for up to 3 years.
Responsibilities
- See and treat both major and minor injuries and illness in both adults and children
- Refer to the relevant specialty when required
- Learn and undertake ED procedures and skills
- Participate in resuscitation and trauma calls
The rota within emergency medicine equates to 1 in 3 weekends and 1 in 15 nights on average.
