Main duties of the job
A key aspect of the role is the opportunity to strengthen collaboration across primary care, community pharmacy, and secondary care. The Chief Pharmacist will lead Jersey's medicines optimisation agenda, helping to improve medicines choice and prescribing practice across the whole healthcare system. Working closely with clinicians, primary care providers, and community pharmacists, the post-holder will support initiatives that keep people well, promote care closer to home, and reduce avoidable hospital admissions.
